The Oracle GoldenGate 11g Fundamentals for SQL Server course provides presentations and hands-on practice of the commands, parameters, functions and features for installing and configuring Oracle GoldenGate for SQL Server to SQL Server replication on a Windows platform. The labs assume Oracle GoldenGate software version 11.2.1.0.1 running on Windows Server 2008.Students use Oracle GoldenGate utilities to run, manage, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate instances.

This course is only offered as a private class at a customer site on customer equipment.

Learn to:

Prepare the environment and install Oracle GoldenGate
Issue GGSCI commands to add, start, monitor, stop, and delete processes
Configure Extract (Change Capture), Replicat (Change Delivery), and Initial Load
Manage Extract trails and files using logdump
Create parameter files
Manage and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate instances
